Eskom, Koeberg - 2002

1.Various members of SHE Cape Environmental formed part of the ISO Integration Project Team that implemented a Safety, Health and Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

2.Linking of all Safety, Health and Environmental legal requirements to the aspects as determined by the SHE Risk Assessments.


Eskom Distribution - 2004

Conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment for a 66kV Powerline from Bredasdorp to Struisbaai (32km) as well as a substation at Struisbaai.



Koeberg Nuclear Power Station - 2004

Provide Meteorological Services: Maintain Meteorological Monitoring Systems, Process Meteorological Data, Analyse Climate trends (short and long term), determine extreme probabilities using statistical analytical methods, Forecast Weather (macro and micro scale), Assist in Emergency Response and Consequences by using dispersion Modelling and forecasting.

Conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment for a 66kV Powerline from Vryheid to Riviersonderend (42km) as well as the upgrading of the substation at Riviersonderend.



Eskom Distribution - 2006

1.Conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment for a 66kV Powerline from Keurboom to Robberg (Plettenberg Bay) (15 km).

2.Conductiong an Environmental Impact Assessment for a 66kV Powerline from Proteus to Vleesbaai (Mossel Bay) (15 km).


Eskom Distribution – Western Region - 2007

1.Review of the Blanco-Knysna 132kV environmental impact assessment.

2.ECO function for the 132kV Blanco-Outeniqua overhead powerline and substation extensions.
3.Conduct an EIA and develop an EMP for Robberg-Bitou 66kV powerline and substation.

1.Complete meteorological services to Koeberg Nuclear Power Station.

2.Monthly Jellyfish monitoring for Koeberg Nuclear Power Station.
